Our story

Started by travellers, not marketers

Green Luxury Travel began as a private list passed between friends — the handful of lodges, routes and small operators that managed to be genuinely beautiful and genuinely responsible at the same time. The list kept growing, and so did the questions from people who wanted in.

Today we are a small editorial team based in Philadelphia, writing for a worldwide audience of conscious travellers. We publish guides, essays and field notes — and nothing else. We do not run tours, take bookings, or sell anyone's holiday.
